Warhammer Online Broken Sword Tome Unlock Guide
This Tome Unlock Guide is for Both Factions.
Here are a series of pocket item tome unlocks located in oRvR areas. I completed these on various alts over a course of a weekend. I hope you find a use for them. This Tome Unlock Guide is for a pocket item called, Broken Sword. It goes in your pocket slot and has no stats. When used it emotes, “You play with the broken sword for a bit, but then get bored at the metal clanking sounds.” You can see a picture of it below.
This tome unlock is very easy to obtain. You can do it at any rank as long as you can make it to the area. In order to complete this unlock you will have to click on an item named Hidden Scroll. It is located in a Tier 3 oRvR lake called Saphery. Below are some screen shots to help you find it.
As you can see from the pictures above, the hidden scroll is located north of the east Battle Objective. You can find the scroll next to a pile of rocks enclosed in a circle. After you click on the Hidden Scroll you will receive the tome unlock “What do we have here?” Depending on if you are Destruction or Order, you will have to head to the city and buy your reward.
Destruction – Once you receive that unlock head to Inevitable City in the Chaos Zone. Head west to The Lyceum. In there you will find a NPC named Disciple Venomstung. You will now be able to purchase the Broken Sword. Below are some screen shots to help you find Disciple Venomstung.
Order – (Bugged – You can complete the unlock but the vendor does not sell it) Once you receive that unlock head to Altdorf in the Empire Zone. Head west to the Altdorf Library. In there you will find a NPC named Mandred Vogt. He is on the upper level. You will now be able to purchase the Broken Sword. Below are some screen shots to help you find Mandred Vogt.
That’s about it. In order to use a pocket item equip it in your pocket slot. After that drag the item from the equipment slot to your hot bar. Click on the icon in your hot bar to use the item. Enjoy your broken sword, maybe one day we’ll be able to put it back together.
