Now that I am finally rank 40 I can focus on completing all the unlock walk through guides.  I wrote my first guide in Open Beta over at WHA which to this day received over 90,000 views.  I still get e-mails from all over the world thanking me for that guide.  My goal is to finish every single pocket, jewelry, and bestial token unlocks before the new Live Event is here.  I have a lot of plans for this blog that goes beyond these tome unlock guides.  I just can’t focus on them yet because of my one track mind set.  I completed several bestial token unlocks but refuse to post them until I finish all the pocket and jewelry guides.

This Tome Unlock Guide is for Both Factions.

Here’s another walk through guide for all you pocket item collectors.  This unlock is to make up for the Dark Polish pocket item that is Order Only.  Now everyone can summon a dark cloud around them.  This Tome Unlock Guide is for a pocket item called, Darklight.  It goes in your pocket slot and has no stats.  When used it emotes, “The Darklight briefly sputters on, spreading a small veil of darkness.”  You can see a picture of it below.

This tome unlock is a tad bit difficult to obtain.  You can probably do it solo/ duo at Rank 40 or in a small group of Rank 25-30.  In order to complete this unlock you will have to kill a level 27 champion mob in Mount Gunbad.  The name of the mob is Morgit da Waaagher.  Mount Gunbad is a tier 3 open instanced PQ area located in The Badlands.  Morgit is located in the Troll PQ area Redeye Stompin’ Grounds.    Below are some screen shots to help you find it.

As you can see from the pictures above, the entrance to Mount Gunbad is in the upper northwest corner of the zone.  Once you enter Mount Gundbad, head straight down the ramp to the left of Rally Master.  Go all the down until you reach the entrance of the PQ area Redeye Stompin’ Grounds.  Head into the PQ area and stay to your left.  Once you see the Boiling Cauldron look at your minimap.  Your minimap should show a little blue area in the south part of the map.  That is where Morgit da Waaagher is located.  After you kill Morgit you will receive the tome unlock “Night-time is the Right Time.”  Depending on if you are Destruction or Order, you will have to head to the city and buy your reward.

Destruction – Once you receive that unlock head to Inevitable City in the Chaos Zone.  Head west to The Lyceum.  In there you will find a NPC named Disciple Venomstung.  You will now be able to purchase the Darklight.  Below are some screen shots to help you find Disciple Venomstung.

Order - Once you receive that unlock head to Altdorf in the Empire Zone.  Head west to the Altdorf Library.  In there you will find a NPC named Mandred Vogt.  He is on the upper level.  You will now be able to purchase the Darklight.  Below are some screen shots to help you find Mandred Vogt.

That’s about it.  In order to use a pocket item equip it in your pocket slot.  After that drag the item from the equipment slot to your hot bar.  Click on the icon in your hot bar to use the item.  Enjoy being the dark cloud of the party.
