This Tome Unlock Guide is for Both Factions.

Happy Friday everyone!  We have seven days until the new Live Event Night of Murder starts!  I hope you are ready for it because I know I am.  Things are really starting to pick up for Warhammer Online.  Buzz buzz buzz!  Anyway, this Tome Unlock Guide is for a pocket item called, Deadmaul Paw.  It goes in your pocket slot and has no stats.  When used it emotes, “You swipe the paw through the air and make a loud growling sound!”  It also creates a claw swiping motion in front of you.  You can see a picture of it below.

This tome unlock isn’t too hard to obtain.  You can probably do it solo/ duo at Rank 40 or in a small group of Rank 33-40.  In order to complete this unlock you will have to kill a level 36 champion mob in a tier 4 zone called Praag.  The name of the mob is Deadmaul.  Below are some screen shots to help you find him.

As you can see from the pictures above, Deadmaw is located in the northeast part of the map in a cave.  Just enter the cave and you should see him immediately.  After you kill Deadmaw you will receive the tome unlock “Getting Ahead.”  Depending on if you are Destruction or Order, you will have to head to the city and buy your reward.

Destruction – Once you receive that unlock head to Inevitable City in the Chaos Zone.  Head west to The Lyceum.  In there you will find a NPC named Disciple Venomstung.  You will now be able to purchase the Deadmaul Paw.  Below are some screen shots to help you find Disciple Venomstung.

Order - Once you receive that unlock head to Altdorf in the Empire Zone.  Head west to the Altdorf Library.  In there you will find a NPC named Mandred Vogt.  He is on the upper level.  You will now be able to purchase the Deadmaul Paw.  Below are some screen shots to help you find Mandred Vogt.

That’s about it.  In order to use a pocket item equip it in your pocket slot.  After that drag the item from the equipment slot to your hot bar.  Click on the icon in your hot bar to use the item.  That’s about it.  THE BEARS!
