Clash Royale Twinking Intro

Submitted by on Monday, 13 November 2017No Comment

I’ve been playing Clash Royale for some time now.  I have two F2P accounts.  One account is level 12 and the other is 11.  I run a mortar/goblin deck on both accounts and stay above 4k cups.  I really enjoy Clash Royale because anytime I have free time I can hop on and enjoy some quick PvP action.

My most memorable PvP moments were back in the days in World of Warcraft.  I did the High Warlord, Gladiator, and Battlegrounds grind.  During my time in WoW my brother and I decided to start some low level twink characters.  We had a blast.  Twinking is basically leveling a low level character and gearing them up with the absolute best equipment possible.  It was a fun grind and going up against other twinks added another level of challenge to PvP.

There’s no set standard for Clash Royale twinking so after some thought I imposed a simple rule for my Twink.

  • Level 2 max King’s tower

It’s a pretty simple rule.  Keep my King’s tower at level two.  I considered a level 1 Twink but after a lot of thought I felt level 2 would offer a higher level of competitiveness.  I also feel that level 2 works because if I mess up my deck I can easily reroll.  Here are some key factors on why I decided a level 2 Twink was right for me.

  • Second quest slot

The second quest slot open isn’t that big of a deal but the extra shot at cards helps.

  • Can’t donate/request.  Don’t need account boosting

You can’t donate/request cards until level 3.  Staying at level 2 means you won’t need a higher level account to boost your twink.  I’m probably over thinking this but if you can’t donate/request it makes maintaining a Twink clan less of a hastle.  No expectations except being social and active.

  • Adds 50+ experience points.

After the intro battles you only have 16/20 experience points left.  That means you can only level 3 more cards before you  level up.  That doesn’t give you much wiggle room and forces the Knight card in your deck if you want an upgraded deck.  The extra 50 experience points unlocks the potential for higher trophy competitive PvP matches.

So that’s my plan for a Clash Royale Twink.  My goal is to hit Arena 7 2000 trophies with my Twink.  I’m still debating which cards I will invest in but I will definitely keep all of you updated.  Thanks for reading.
