This Tome Unlock Guide is for Both Fractions.

Here’s another Warhammer Online Guide for all you pocket item collectors.  This guide is for a pocket item called, “Filthy Hanky.”  It goes in your pocket slot and has no stats.  When used a green puff of smoke exploads from your feet, emotes, “You look closely at the hanky, but as you do a whiff of the filth on it causes you to sneeze and disease goes everywhere!”  You can see it in action below.

This unlock can be difficult to complete depending on what Rank you are.  You can probably do it at Rank 30-34 or less with a group.  In order to get this unlock you have to click on a Treasure Chest protected by two level 29 Champion mobs.  This chest is located in a Tier 3 zone called, Talabecland.  Below are some screenshots of where you can find this chest.

As you can see from the map above, the chest is slightly south of the river by the rock formation.  The two Champions guarding it can be pulled one at a time.  After you click on the chest, you will receive the tome unlock “Side Effects include Mutation and Death.”  Depending on if your Destruction or Order, you will have to head to the city and buy your reward.

Destruction – Once you receive that unlock head to Inevitable City in the Chaos Zone.  Head west to, “The Lyceum.”  In there you will find a NPC named, “Disciple Venomstung.”  You will now be able to purchase the “Filthy Hanky.”  Below are some screenshots to help you find Disciple Venomstung.

Order – Once you receive that unlock head to Altdorf in the Empire Zone.  Head west to, “Altdorf Library.” In there you will find a NPC named, “Mandred Vogt.”  You will now be able to purchase the “Filthy Hanky.”  Below are some screenshots to help you find Mandred Vogt.

That’s about it.  Equip the item in your pocket slot and drag it to your hotbar.  Enjoy the additional to your pocket item collection.
