Warhammer Online Barrel of Ale Tome Unlock Guide
This Tome Unlock Guide is for Order Only.
What’s up? I wrote another niffy guide today. This Warhammer Online Guide is for a nice pocket item. This guide is for a pocket item called, “Barrel of Ale.” It goes in your pocket slot and has no stats. When used bubbles emite from your body, emotes, “You use the barrel and feel all bubbly!” You can see it in action below.
This unlock is really easy to complete. You don’t have to kill anything. You can probably do it at Rank 25 or less with a group. In order to get this unlock you have to click on a barrel. This barrel is located in a Tier 4 zone called, Thunder Mountain. Below are some screenshots of where you can find this barrel.
As you can see from the map above, the barrel is located in the Dwarf Chapter 18 town. The barrel is slightly west of the Career Trainer and Merchant. After you click on the barrel, you will receive the tome unlock “X Marks the Spot.” You will have to head to the city and buy your reward.
Order – Once you receive that unlock head to Altdorf in the Empire Zone. Head west to, “Altdorf Library.” In there you will find a NPC named, “Mandred Vogt.” You will now be able to purchase the “Barrel of Ale.” Below are some screenshots to help you find Mandred Vogt. you find Disciple Venomstung.
After you get the Barrel of Ale, equip the item in your pocket slot and drag it to your hotbar. Enjoy the additional to your pocket item collection.

you can accomplish this as destruction as well.
“with mount and Man tactic (reduced aggro range), mount up at the Greenskin camp and run across the bridges towards the Dwarf camp in question. Stick to the right side of the bridge and as you get towards the 55 Hero and other guards, jump from the bridge to the land (diagonally over the gap) then carry on sprinting. With any luck they won’t aggro or if they do they’ll soon reset. Now just move your way through the camp between the mobs (watch out for the patrolling 55 champ Ironbreaker by the tower – as long as it isn’t a guard it’s neutral) and you can easily walk up to the barrel and click. For a quick getaway find the nearest guard”

Thanks for the useful post! I’m sure there is an easier method out there somewhere. We just need to find that barrel. lol
